What are Lip Fillers?
Lip Fillers are a gel-like substance that is safely injected just underneath the top layer of the lip itself. Dermal Fillers are made out of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural occurring substance that is found in our skin.
Are Lip Fillers permanent?
Lip Fillers are temporary, lasting anywhere from 9-months to a year, with most people reaching the 12-month mark.
How much does it cost?
R3,200 per 1 ml.
How many ml’s would I need?
90% of our patients choose only to have 1 ml injected. Most of the time, this is more than enough.
Can I add another ml or two?
Yes you can. Because the results are immediate, we will start by only injecting 1 ml. Dr Wade will then show you the results and you can then decide should you wish to add another ml or two. Alternatively, go home and think about it. You can always come back in a couple of days should you like to add more.
Why do people get Lip Fillers?
Due to ageing, most people lose volume in their lips, it can be used to restore the volume that was once there. We have also seen patients that wants to correct asymmetry, patients that wants add volume to match their upper or lower lip, fill-in gaps etc. Then of course, most of our patients do it to advance their own appearance. Beautiful lips speak volume, so to speak.
