Founded by Dr. Wade Merchant in 2015, Natural Aesthetics is a private, doctor-led aesthetic clinic group based in Cape Town, with branches conveniently situated in Green Point, Tyger Valley, and Somerset West. With over a decade of clinical experience, we offer safe, internationally recognised treatments and solutions with a results-driven approach.

From medical aesthetic and anti-ageing treatments to GLP-1 weight loss programmes, diode laser hair removal, advanced skincare, and luxury facials, each treatment plan is tailored to our patients’ individual needs. Our Clinics

Each of our clinics operates as a private practice, offering a discreet experience and personalised care. All locations provide convenient access with parking available directly in front of each branch. Natural Aesthetics clinics are situated across Cape Town, with branches in Green Point, Tyger Valley, and Somerset West. We are open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30, and on selected Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00.

Dr. Wade Merchant is the visionary co-founder of Natural Aesthetics and Skin Spot. In addition to his leadership in the aesthetics industry, he is also the founder and developer of the Active Ceuticals skincare range.

With an Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from The Foundation of Professional Development (FPD) and a Cosmetic Science qualification from The Society of Cosmetic Chemists South Africa (COSCHEM), Dr. Wade is recognised for his expertise. He is also an internationally certified trainer for Galderma, conducting specialised training in the Cape Town region for medical professionals on the safe and effective use of dermal fillers, biostimulators, and skinboosters.

Dr. Melinda Dommisse

MBChB (Stellenbosch University)

Dr Melinda Dommisse is a highly skilled Medical Doctor with over a decade of experience in aesthetic medicine. A graduate of Stellenbosch University, she has developed a special interest in treatments that enhance natural beauty and improve overall well-being.

Dr Melinda specialises in Plexr Plasma treatments, Botulinum Toxin anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, biostimulator treatments, thread lifting, and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies. Her expertise also extends to body aesthetics, offering treatments such as cellulite reduction and advanced weight management solutions, including Semaglutide and Tirzepatide. Additionally, Dr Melinda provides specialised skin treatments like Polynucleotides for rejuvenation and Subcision for acne scarring, ensuring her patients feel confident and supported throughout their aesthetic journey.

 

Dr. Aimee Gericke

MB, ChB, Dip PEC (CMSA)

After completing a postgraduate diploma in emergency medicine, Dr. Aimee Gericke discovered her true passion in the field of aesthetic medicine. She is dedicated to enhancing natural beauty and promoting self-confidence through holistic, patient-centred care. Whether addressing facial aesthetics, weight management, or body aesthetics, Dr. Aimee employs advanced techniques combined with a compassionate approach to meet her patients’ unique needs.

Dr. Aimee’s expertise includes anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, biostimulators, and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapies. She also offers body aesthetic treatments like penile enlargement, labial fillers and cellulite reduction, as well as weight management solutions such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide. Additionally, she provides specialised skin treatments, including Polynucleotides for rejuvenation and Subcision for acne scarring, ensuring patients feel confident and supported throughout their journey.

Dr. Elaine Schoeman

MBChB (MEDUNSA), Prof. Dip. Paediatrics (RCPI), Adv. Aesthetic Injectables (Acquisition Aesthetics, London)

Dr Elaine Schoeman is a qualified Medical Doctor who obtained her MBChB from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (MEDUNSA) and holds a Professional Diploma in Paediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. She is registered as an independent practitioner with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and holds general registration with the Irish Medical Council. Her broad clinical background spans general medicine, emergency and urgent care, family medicine and paediatrics, in both South Africa and Ireland. Having completed Advanced Aesthetic Injectable Training with Acquisition Aesthetics in London, UK, and practised at the internationally recognised Sisu Clinic in Dublin, Ireland, she brings a refined European approach to non-surgical aesthetic treatments, patient-centred care and natural-looking results.

Dr Elaine’s approach focuses on enhancing each patient’s natural features through personalised treatment plans designed to achieve fresh, balanced and elegant outcomes. Her experience includes anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, biostimulators, advanced lip augmentation techniques and GLP-1 weight-loss programmes, supported by advanced training in Lip Augmentation, Tear Trough and Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty masterclasses in London. She is passionate about delivering subtle, confidence-boosting results while maintaining excellent clinical standards and patient safety.

Antoinette Rudolph

Skincare Diploma (City and Guilds London)

Antoinette is a highly experienced Skin Therapist with over 12 years in the skincare industry, including 8 years specialising in aesthetics. Holding a City and Guilds London Diploma in Skincare, Antoinette combines her passion for skin health with a holistic approach to patient care. She is dedicated to helping patients achieve lasting results while boosting their self-esteem.

Antoinette specialises in advanced treatments such as Diode Laser Hair Removal, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Skin Rejuvenation, Dermapen Microneedling, Chemical Peels, Cosmelan, Fractional Skin Resurfacing, and Radio Frequency therapies. Her personalised approach also includes customised facials, thorough skin assessments, and the use of medical-grade skincare products, ensuring each patient receives tailored, effective care on their skincare journey.

Zeta Rodwell

Dip. Somatology, Adv. Dip. Dermal Aesthetics (ICA)

Zeta is a qualified Somatologist and Dermal Aesthetician based at our Tyger Valley practice. She completed a three-year Diploma in Somatology at the Isa Carstens Health and Skincare Academy, followed by the Advanced Diploma in Dermal Aesthetics. Before joining Natural Aesthetics, she worked as a senior therapist and supervisor in a busy aesthetic and laser clinic, where she gained extensive hands-on experience in chemical peels, laser hair removal, dermaplaning, microneedling, skin resurfacing and advanced skin analysis.

Zeta has a particular interest in pigmentation and melasma, and enjoys tailoring treatment courses that combine microneedling and chemical peels, always ensuring the skin barrier is healthy and strong before treatment begins. She is certified in Soprano ICE Platinum laser hair removal and Venus Versa™, and believes that genuine care is the foundation of trust, building long-term relationships with her patients so that every treatment plan is followed through to visible, lasting results.

Mollie Roux

Dip. Somatology, Adv. Dip. Dermal Aesthetics (ICA)

Mollie is a qualified Somatologist and Dermal Aesthetician based at our Somerset West practice. She completed a three-year Diploma in Somatology at the Isa Carstens Health and Skincare Academy in Stellenbosch, and later returned to complete the Advanced Diploma in Dermal Aesthetics, as one of the first students to take the course. She then spent five years in a leading medical aesthetics practice in Durbanville, performing IPL, laser hair removal, vein treatments, microneedling and chemical peels, and assisting doctors with injectable and fractional laser procedures. Most recently, she spent four years in Doha, Qatar, as a Senior Facialist and Trainer, where she mentored new therapists and performed advanced and luxury facial treatments.

Mollie is result-driven and takes a careful, step-by-step approach to every skin, assessing the skin barrier, lifestyle and home-care routine before any treatment begins. She has a special interest in pigmentation, melasma and acne, and is certified in Soprano ICE Platinum laser hair removal and Venus Versa™. Combining clinical expertise with the personal touch of her spa background, she sees each patient’s skin as a long-term journey and makes sure every patient feels cared for, valued and confident in their results.

Cleo Kriel

SAAHSP, CIDESCO, ITEC

Cleo Kriel joined the Natural Aesthetics team in June 2020 as a Senior Aesthetic Therapist and has since advanced to the role of Group Executive of Administration and Operations. Holding national and international diplomas from prestigious institutions such as SAAHSP, CIDESCO, and ITEC, Cleo’s dedication to excellence in skincare, practice management, and operations is evident.

With over a decade of clinical experience, Cleo has developed advanced knowledge in medical-grade skincare treatments and product solutions. In her Group Executive leadership role, she is responsible for further optimising our customer and patient care experiences, as well as our administrative and operational processes. Cleo also supports staff development and management, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care and online shopping experiences across all three Natural Aesthetics clinics and our online store, Skin Spot.

Margaux Krause

Health & Skincare Diploma (Camelot International)
SAAHSP, CIDESCO, ITEC

Margaux Krause is a qualified Skincare Therapist with a Diploma in Health & Skincare from Camelot International (2009), accredited by SAAHSP, CIDESCO, and CIBTAC. She began her career delivering exceptional patient care as a Skincare Therapist and has since transitioned into an administrative role at Natural Aesthetics. Margaux’s deep understanding of skincare, combined with her dedication to excellence, ensures the seamless management of patient experiences and operational efficiency.

Amber Villet

Practice Coordinator

Amber joined the Natural Aesthetics team in December 2025 and has quickly become a valued part of the clinic. In her role as Practice Coordinator, she plays an important part in the daily operations of the practice, helping to ensure that the clinic runs efficiently and that patients have a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.

From assisting at reception to supporting administrative tasks and coordinating clinic activities, Amber works closely with the team to maintain the high standards of care and professionalism that Natural Aesthetics is known for. We are delighted to have Amber as part of our team and look forward to seeing her continue to grow within the practice.

Abigail Durand

Practice Coordinator

Abigail joined the Natural Aesthetics team in February 2026 as Practice Coordinator at our Somerset West clinic and has quickly become a valued part of the team. In her role, she supports the practice’s daily operations, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for every patient.

With a strong background in medical administration and patient coordination, Abigail brings excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a warm, patient-focused approach to the clinic. She works closely with both patients and the clinical team, assisting with scheduling, communication, and overall workflow to maintain the high standards of care that Natural Aesthetics is known for.
