Embrace the transformative power of Venus Versa NanoFractional RF for radiant and rejuvenated skin that reflects your natural beauty. Your journey to skin renewal begins here.

How it works

Venus Versa NanoFractional RF harnesses the power of NanoFractional Radio Frequency technology to stimulate skin rejuvenation. During the procedure, the device emits precisely controlled RF energy, which creates tiny micro-dermal wounds in the skin’s surface. This controlled damage triggers the body’s natural healing response, promoting collagen and elastin production. As a result, the skin undergoes a rejuvenation process, leading to improved texture and reduced imperfections.

Venus Versa™ NanoFractional RF is a non-surgical radiofrequency (RF) nano-fractional device designed to resurface the skin. The device delivers targeted columns of RF energy to the tissue, designed to damage the existing collagen, stimulating the body’s natural healing response.

Once the collagen has been damaged, they body begins to repair the collagen by replacing the damaged collagen with new collagen. The RF also stimulates the body to produce new fibroblasts, the “houses” that create collagen, thus increasing the amount of collagen in the tissue. This wound healing creates a smoother appearance to the skin, plumps up fine line and wrinkles, treats acne scars, reduces pigmented lesions and textural irregularities of the skin.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are a few of the most common questions and answers regarding the use of Venus Venus Versa™ NanoFractional RF treatments. If you have other questions or concerns about treatment, please consult with one of our medical doctors.

The ideal candidate is anyone who shows signs of skin damage, including deep wrinkles, scars, visible pores, stretch marks, and/or anything else that affects the skin’s texture.

Yes. Venus Viva™ uses technology that’s safe for all skin tones, even darker ones.

Most patients receive 3-4 treatments per area, however you may need up to 6 treatments. The exact number will depend on each individual person and the area being treated.

Treatments are done 3 to 4 weeks apart. Anywhere between 4 to 6 treatments may be needed for optimum results.

Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams, perfumes, powder, or makeup before your treatment session, and avoid tanning. Remove all jewelry around the area being treated. If you have excessive hair on the treatment area, shave it beforehand. It also helps to be prepared with information about your medical history—the aesthetician will likely ask about it.

Most importantly stop using any active products, such as retinol, at least 3 days prior to your treatments.

Each session lasts 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

Depending on the treatment area, numbing cream may be used to allow for a comfortable procedure , however you may still feel the tiny pins on your skin followed by a little zap. Your face will then feel warm, like a sunburn, anywhere between 4 to 6 hours post treatment. Some sensitivity may even last longer.

Venus Viva™ treatments may be slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. You’ll feel intense heat, similar to the feeling of sunburn, and your face will look red right after the treatment for anywhere between 4 to 6 hours.

Your skin will be red and feel warm afterward, like a sunburn. You can ease this by fanning or exposing the area to cool air. Within the first 24 hours, only apply topicals that have been recommended or prescribed by the aesthetician. The warm feeling, sensitivity and redness should go away within 24 hours.

Yes, but only for 24 hours post-treatment (or up to 5 days for more aggressive treatments), unlike lasers or other treatments where recovery or downtime lasts up to 10 days. Your skin will be red and sensitive for the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, you may put on makeup and resume your regular skin care routine. You should always apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30) to maintain your results and prevent sun damage. Avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.

After your final treatment, your results will continue to improve. However, one touch-up session may be needed approximately every 6 months, depending on how your skin responds.

If your skin feels hot, you can use a fan to cool it down. Avoid touching or scratching the treatment area. For the first 24 hours, only apply products that are expressly recommended by your treatment provider, as there are many topicals that could cause severe irritation. After 24 hours, you should apply sunscreen (at least SPF 30), preferably one without chemicals. Also avoid rigorous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treatment area for the first 2 days after your session. Make sure to keep your skin clean and protected from the sun. Avoid any sort of tanning.

No. You should wait till 24 hours after your treatment to apply any makeup or lotion. Some topicals or skin care may be recommended by the aesthetician, and anything you apply should be done in-office or prescribed by them.
