Restylane® Lyft™
Restylane Lyft with Lidocaine is FDA-approved for deep implantation into facial tissue to target moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, for cheek augmentation, and to correct age-related midface contour deficiencies. Additionally, it is FDA-approved for injection into the dorsal hand to address volume loss.
Restylane® Lyft™ is used for correcting nasolabial folds, enhancing cheeks, facial contouring, and restoring volume in the backs of the hands.

These before and after images demonstrate the effectiveness of anti-wrinkle injections, using Dysport as a preventative measure for crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines. The Composition of Lyft
The Restylane range of fillers are created with two patented technologies: NASHA™ and XpresHAn Technology™. Restylane Lyft, in particular, is developed with their Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid (NASHA™) technology. NASHA™ fillers are closer to the natural composition of hyaluronic acid than any other dermal filler on the market. Like Lyft, these fillers have a firmer gel texture, are engineered for precision and structure, and are used to create projection and definition for a more pronounced lift.

Clinical Study
In a 2021 clinical study, patients reported the following outcomes after treatment with Restylane Lyft:
- 96% of patients agreed their appearance was improved after treatment with Restylane Lyft.*
- 89% of patients reported that they looked less tired after treatment with Restylane Lyft.*
- 100% of patients thought their results looked natural after treatment with Restylane Lyft.*

Before And After Results: Using Restylane Lyft
Before and after using Restylane Lyft, addressing mid-face (cheeks) volume loss, correcting the onset of nasolabial folds, and slightly elongating the chin to balance facial features for a more enhanced appearance. Additionally, Restylane Refyne, a softer and more flexible type of filler, was used to treat lower mouth lines and marionette lines, all while preserving the patient’s natural beauty. Before and after the application of Restylane Lyft (targeting mid-face, nasolabial folds, and chin) and Restylane Refyne (for mouth lines and marionette lines), the transformation is a true testament to Dr. Melinda Dommisse’s ‘lightness of touch’, restoring and subtly enhancing our patient’s natural features, while bringing honour to our patient’s natural beauty.
These before and after images showcase the impressive application of Restylane Lyft in the mid-face, results by Dr. Aimee Gericke. Additionally, Dr. Gericke used a slightly thinner yet firm filler to address our patient’s under-eye volume loss. In total, only 2 ml of filler were used; 1 ml of Restylane Lyft placed in the mid-face and 1 ml of Restylane Refyne to address the onset of under-eye hollows.
Our patient seen here has always taken good care of her skin, however, she experienced facial sagging, due to loss of volume in her cheeks has given her a ‘droopy’ appearance. To address this, Dr. Wade Merchant used a total of 4 ml of Restylane Lyft (2 ml per each side of the face), which instantly gave her ‘lifted’ cheeks and a refreshed appearance. Additionally, 1 ml of Restylane Refyne was used to treat other fine lines and folds, such as marionette lines and laugh lines.
In these before and after photos, 2 ml of Restylane Lyft, placing 1 ml to each side of the face, to restore volume and structural support in the mid-face. This approach addressed fat pad depletion and age-related bone loss. The filler was also placed in the lateral and upper cheek areas for sculpting and enhancing the cheeks. The outcome is a natural-looking enhancement that provides a pronounced cheekbone effect, while honouring and enhancing our patient’s overall appearance. Results by Dr. Aimee Gericke.
