Step 1: Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation step that helps remove build-up, dead skin cells, impurities, and fine facial hair (vellus hair) from the skin’s surface, revealing smoother, brighter-looking skin and enhancing your overall glow. It refines the skin’s surface, allowing homecare products to be applied more effectively while preparing the skin for the next step of your facial.
Step 2: SkinCeuticals Chemical Peel
Your therapist will assess your skin and select a peel best suited to your skin type and overall goals, from the following SkinCeuticals options:
Micro Peel 30: Developed with 30% Glycolic, this peel helps to gently exfoliate and refine the skin’s surface. Designed to help reduce the appearance of sun damage and breakouts, while refining the look of pores and texture for smoother-looking skin.
SkinCeuticals Gel Peel GL: This gel-based peel combines 20% Glycolic and 10% Lactic ingredients and is suitable for more sensitive or dry skin types. It provides gentle exfoliation while supporting hydration, radiance, and a smoother-looking complexion.
Pigment Balancing Peel: Formulated with 40% Glycolic, 10% Citric, 27% Vitamin C, and botanical extracts, this peel is designed to help improve the appearance of uneven pigmentation, post-breakout marks, and skin texture, while supporting a smoother, more radiant-looking complexion.
Step 3: SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Masque
The SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Masque is a calming, hydrating botanical masque designed to cool and comfort the skin on application. It helps to visibly reduce the appearance of redness while leaving the skin feeling soothed, refreshed, and hydrated.
Step 4: Professional LED Light Session
A professional LED session is the final step of your facial, creating a calming and relaxing finish. It helps to comfort the skin after your peel, reducing the appearance of redness and sensitivity while supporting the skin’s natural barrier and leaving your skin feeling soothed, refreshed, and radiant.
Aftercare and Downtime
Our team will provide you with detailed aftercare guidance and products to support your skin.
- You will receive a 30 ml HOCL skin support spray, along with a sample-sized barrier repair cream to use for 1–3 days following your facial.
- There is little to no downtime following your facial.
- Daily sunscreen (SPF) use is essential, with reapplication every 4 hours indoors and every 2 hours when outdoors.
- You may experience mild skin flaking for up to 1–3 days, if at all. This is typically minimal and not noticeable after cleansing and applying your aftercare products and sunscreen.
- We recommend avoiding makeup and exercise for 24 hours after your facial.
- All other normal activities can be resumed immediately.
