Booking Deposits Terms and Conditions:
- A R500 booking deposit is required to secure certain appointments.
- The deposit must be paid on the same day that your appointment is booked, or on the same day that you confirm a time slot offered by our team.
- If the required deposit is not received, or if our team is unable to reach you after several attempts, your appointment may be cancelled and the time slot may be offered to other patients.
- All online payments are securely processed via PayFast, a trusted and secure payment gateway.
- PayFast offers various payment methods, including Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, Instant EFT, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, SnapScan, Zapper, Capitec Pay, and more.
Booking Deposits Are Required for the Following Criteria:
- Patients who have a history of multiple cancellations or frequent rescheduling.
- Patients who have previously cancelled an appointment on the day of the appointment, the day before the appointment, or over the weekend for a Monday appointment.
- Patients who have booked two or more treatments on the same day.
- Patients who have booked a Saturday appointment with a skincare therapist.
- Patients who have previously failed to attend a scheduled appointment (no-show).
- Patients who have booked a treatment that exceeds 60 minutes in duration.
Cancellation Policy:
- For appointments that are not attended (no-shows), a R500 cancellation fee, equivalent to the booking deposit, will apply.
- For appointments booked on a Monday, a R500 cancellation fee will apply if the appointment is cancelled over the weekend.
- For appointments booked from Tuesday to Friday, a R500 cancellation fee will apply if the appointment is cancelled on the day before or on the day of the appointment.
Arrival Times and Lateness:
- New patients are requested to arrive 10 minutes before their appointment time, and returning patients 5 minutes before their appointment time.
- Patients who arrive unreasonably late may forfeit their appointment, and a R500 cancellation fee, equivalent to the booking deposit, may apply.
Unreasonable lateness includes:
- Arriving more than 5 minutes late for an appointment that is 30–45 minutes in duration.
- Arriving more than 10 minutes late for an appointment that exceeds 45 minutes in duration.
- Arriving late and having not completed the required consent forms. Consent forms are sent before appointments and followed up on by our administrative team if they have not been completed in advance.
Deposit Allocation and Reimbursement:
- Provided that you have not breached any of the conditions outlined in our Cancellation Policy, including those relating to arrival times, lateness, and unreasonable lateness, your booking deposit will be deducted from the cost of your consultation or treatment on the day of your appointment.
- If you cancel your appointment within the permitted cancellation period and have not breached any of the conditions outlined in our Cancellation Policy, your deposit may either be retained on your account and used to secure a future appointment, or reimbursed to you in full upon request.
- Should we need to cancel your appointment for any reason, your deposit may either be retained on your account and deducted from the cost of your next appointment, or reimbursed to you in full should you choose not to reschedule.
- If you breach any of the conditions outlined in our Cancellation Policy, including those relating to arrival times, lateness, or unreasonable lateness, your deposit will be forfeited and applied in lieu of the missed appointment, late cancellation, or late arrival.
These policies help ensure that appointments run on time and that all patients receive the attention and care they deserve. They also honour the time of our doctors and therapists, while ensuring that your appointment is confirmed and secured exclusively for you.
