What is Venus Versa™ TriBella?

TriBella is a cutting-edge, non-invasive facial rejuvenation treatment available at Natural Aesthetics clinics in Cape Town, with branches in Green Point, Tyger Valley, and Somerset West. Combining three advanced technologies in one comprehensive treatment: Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), Radio Frequency (RF), and NanoFractional Skin Resurfacing. 

How TriBella Works

TriBella delivers a multi-layered approach to facial rejuvenation in a single session.

  • Photofacial (IPL): Targets pigmentation, sun damage, and visible veins for an even, radiant complexion.

  • Diamond Polar MP² Radio Frequency: Stimulates collagen and elastin production to tighten and firm the skin.

  • Fractional Skin Resurfacing: Refines texture, smooths wrinkles, and minimises scars through controlled micro-dermal heating.

By combining these three modalities, TriBella offers a powerful, all-in-one facial rejuvenation experience, delivering results that are more dramatic and longer lasting than standalone treatments.

7 days before your treatment:

  • Apply SPF daily, even if you stay indoors.
  • Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning.
  • Do not use facial scrubs or exfoliators.
  • Stop using the following products: Retinols (Retinoic Acid, Retin-A, Retinol, Retinoic Acetate), Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Glycolic or Lactic Acid), and Salicylic Acid.
  • Avoid facial waxing for at least two weeks before your treatment.
  • If your skin is dry, flaky, or prone to sensitivity (such as eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or a stinging reaction to products), please book a consultation first so we can guide you on how to prepare your skin barrier for better tolerance.
  • If you are prone to cold sores or herpes infections, please let us know, as you may need to take an oral antiviral medication for two days before your procedure to prevent a breakout.

5–7 Days Following Your Treatment: 

Morning Routine:

  • Cleanse with a gentle cleanser and apply HOCL-Spray. 
  • Apply a barrier cream.
  • Apply sunscreen (we recommend any Heliocare or Heliocare 360° sunscreen).
  • Apply your make-up if desired.


Evening Routine:

  • Cleanse with a gentle cleanser and apply HOCL-Spray. 
  • Apply a barrier cream.
  • The barrier cream will replace your usual moisturiser after your procedure. 


Additional: 

  • You may start to peel or flake from the 2nd or 3rd day after treatment, depending on the treatment.
  • If peeling occurs, do not pick or pull at the skin, as this can lead to scarring.
  • If you are prone to acne, a mild breakout may occur around day 2 or 3 — this is normal and will resolve on its own.
  • Avoid using topical exfoliants such as Salicylic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA), or Retinoic Acid (Retin-A, Retinol, Retinoic Acetate) for one week after your peel.
  • Avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks and reapply sunscreen regularly.
  • Refrain from exercising for 48 hours.
  • Avoid all forms of hair removal (waxing, threading, laser, or IPL) for two weeks.
  • Do not use steam rooms, saunas, or take hot showers for 48 hours after treatment.
  • Some patients notice visible improvement after one session; however, multiple sessions and consistent use of recommended skincare products may be required for optimal results.

No. TriBella™ is not suitable for darker skin types, or for patients who have melasma or are prone to post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). Because it combines light, heat, and resurfacing energy, a consultation is required to assess your skin tone and sensitivity to ensure that it’s suitable and safe for you.

We recommend a course of 2-3 treatments spaced 6 weeks apart for best results. Maintenance sessions can be done every 6 months to maintain your skin’s tone and texture.

You can apply makeup after 48 hours, once any redness or warmth has subsided. We recommend using a mineral-based product to avoid irritation.

No. Avoid exercise, saunas, and any activities that cause heat or perspiration for at least 48 hours after treatment, as sweating can irritate the skin and slow down healing.

No. TriBella™ treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding for safety reasons.

You’ll notice visible improvement in skin tone and texture after your first session, with the most significant results developing after your third treatment as collagen production continues to increase.
